Our Story
We’ve Been Repairing and Refinishing Furniture Since 1986.
Who We Are
Geneva Restoration, formerly Geneva Refinishers, has been providing the residential and commercial clients of Saint Charles and Geneva, Illinois and the surrounding communities with reliable service for over 30 years.
A small family business that started in 1987, Geneva Restoration has worked with many local businesses and repeat residential customers over the years for professional touch ups and refinishing work.
We also provide on-site furniture repairs, moving repairs, assess insurance claims for antiques, wood and leather.
Pick up & delivery upon request or drop off available. Service available on location. Servicing counties of Cook, Kane, Dupage, parts of Will & Kendall.

More about the Owner
Steve Beardsley is one of seven children in his family. His family moved from Chicago to Geneva; where he grew up with a family interested in construction and various arts. Beginning the small family business started in 1987 in his parents garage in Geneva.
Steve Beardsley has participated in Cub Scouts as a child, later and even now, participating here and there in Geneva and Saint Charles community events. Steve purchased land and built his house putting up roots in Saint Charles back in 1995, finishing construction in 1998. Steve is married and the father to three children and grandfather to three grandchildren. He learned his trades from his family.

Furniture repair
From re-gluing chairs to cleaning out old joints to replacing old parts, as well as minor veneer repair, we'll make your furniture look good as new!
Wood refinishing
We will refinish wood surfaces both interior and exterior! Both in shop and onsite work. Send us your projects, and we'd be happy to let you know how we can help restore your favorite pieces.
